Merlin Events London rolls out Big Bus Tours partnership for Christmas parties
Merlin Events London has recently agreed to further their partnership with Big Bus in London and offer transfers to its event clients and guests.
Merlin were spurred on to develop their events offering to reflect this, after seeing a rise in requests for assistance with transport. This new double-decker opportunity is available across their portfolio of venues and for any type of event.
Since 2016, Merlin has had a commercial partnership with Big Bus, creating fantastic experiences for guests looking to enjoy everything London has to offer from Merlin’s Magical London to Big Bus tours around the city. They have extended this offer out to their clients for the first time.
Matt Worthington at Merlin Events, said: "Our event spaces offer a private experience in some of London's most famous landmarks. This advanced partnership with Big Bus tours goes towards enhancing that experience, while at the same time making it easier and more memorable for guests getting to their party."
While Merlin's sites are well-located and already benefit from brilliant public transport links, the objective is to ensure they offer as many solutions and enable organisers to make transport an integral part of the event for guests. The conversation started initially when a client wanted to bring staff from several separate London offices and the team began to explore how best to deliver that event experience for them.
Anticipating positive feedback from guests, the partnership has been extended to all events. Clients can choose a transfer only, opt to include a sightseeing guide, or even add drinks and hospitality to get guests in the mood during the journey.
Hazel McGuire, Head of Marketing at Big Bus Tours, said: "We provide groups with private tours throughout the year and our partnership with Merlin Events is an exciting addition to this. We can provide transport to and from a venue, a full city tour or a combination of both and we're excited to offer Merlin guests the opportunity to experience this alongside their visit to such iconic London attractions."
