Inaugural London Build to launch in June
The inaugural London Build Expo, a construction exhibition for London and the South of England, launches on 18th & 19th June 2015 at the O2.
Organisers Oliver Kinross announced the launch of the new annual meeting place for the construction sector at a promising time for the industry. The UK construction industry is set for high levels of growth in the coming years, with London and the South of England expected to be at the forefront. Huge levels of foreign investment and an ever-improving domestic economy are leading to a massive increase in construction projects across London and the wider region.
More than 7,500 visitors are expected to attend the event, which promises over 200 exhibitors, CPD accredited conferences and training workshops, and over 50 top level speakers from the likes of Balfour Beatty, Crossrail, RIBA, and RICS. The London Construction Awards will also take place on the evening of day one of the expo, and will include live comedy and entertainment from Jimmy Carr and various London-based entertainers.
Neil Mckenzie, MD at Oliver Kinross commented: “Oliver Kinross identified that there was a gap in the market for a construction event that focuses exclusively on London and the South of England. We believe that with London Build we have come in at exactly the right time and with the right message to cater for the recent resurgence in the UK's construction sector, we were also wise to focus the show on the capital.
“Although London Build hasn't taken place yet, and we still have a long way to go - with plenty of hard work we are optimistic we can deliver a fantastic new annual event for London and the wider region's construction sector.”
