Clarion Events, organisers of Destinations: The Holiday & Travel Show, have announced that the 2015 edition of the show will take place in Olympia London, moving from its current location at Earls Court.

The Times-sponsored 2014 event, which provides visitors with hundreds of ideas and expert advice on the ultimate holiday destinations, is being staged on February 6-9 2014. The 2015 edition will switch to Olympia London on 29 January - 1 February 2015.

Clarion have reported record advance ticket sales coupled with show growth of more than 15 per cent for 2014, and said visitors and exhibitors agree that the new venue remains the perfect place for the exhibition.

Clarion show director, Sam North, explained: “Our move makes total sense. Olympia London has fantastic transport links to our core catchment regions of Sussex, Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire and Oxfordshire.”

Due to the impending closure of Earls Court, Clarion believes that the move to Olympia London will also provide a stable and certain platform for the event.

“The £30m we have spent to improve the venue will no doubt ensure the visitor experience is better than ever before. In fact Olympia London's inspiring spaces have hosted 42 of the country's leading consumer exhibitions in the last year - attracting almost a million visitors - so there is no better home for Destinations."

The show will also run in Manchester at EventCity on 15-18 January 2015.
