ESSA appoints new sales manager
The Event Supplier and Services Association (ESSA) has announced the appointment of a new sales manager. Simon Perry, formerly sales executive with the Association of Event Organisers (AEO), joined ESSA on December 1st 2013. Simon's experience of the event and leisure industries will make him a valuable addition to the ESSA team.
Simon will be working closely with Andrew Harrison, ESSA's deputy director, to increase the take up of its core services and benefits amongst members. Simon will also have responsibility for continuing the growth of ESSA's membership, and building even greater brand awareness.
ESSA director, Chris Skeith, welcomed Simon to the association saying "We've got a big year ahead, and it's clear Simon shares our ambition to drive up engagement with, and membership of, the association."
Simon Perry commented on his appointment: "ESSA has a really solid foundation and a great set of values, services and benefits that I want to communicate to members and non-members alike. It has a great potential for continued growth and I'm looking forward to being an integral part of that effort".
ESSA is a trade association representing contractors and suppliers of goods and services to the exhibition industry. It shares a secretariat with its sister organisations, Association of Event Organisers (AEO) and Association of Event Venues (AEV).
