The Event Suppliers and Services Association has promoted Andrew Harrison to the new position of deputy director. Andrew previously held the post of ESSA's account and communications manager, and his detailed knowledge of the organisation and its members will be useful as he assumes this new role. The new post will draw heavily on Andrew's panoply of experience both inside ESSA and out, and represents only the latest step in the growth of the association's activities across its daily delivery of key services and benefits to its members. Andrew will take on responsibility for the execution of ESSA's marketing and communications strategy, and will provide support to ESSA's director, Chris Skeith, assisting him in the development, management and implementation of association projects.

Event Supplier and Services Association (ESSA) is a trade association representing contractors and suppliers of goods and services to the exhibition industry. ESSA is run by its members for the benefit of its members through an elected council of representatives, specialist working groups and a full time secretariat, which it shares with the Association of Event Organisers (AEO) and Association of Event Venues (AEV).
