Motor industry delight for Motor Show
The British International Motor Show attracted 411,070 visitors to Excel between the 20-30 July. Held in London, at Excel, for the first time in 30 years, the attendance figure is 24 per cent up on that of two years ago when the event last ran at the NEC. Not only did the event see large visitor numbers, it also attracted favourable comment from the motor industry.
“We are extremely pleased how London has embraced the motor show,” says Citroën director of communications, Marc Raven. “The Citroën stand has been extremely busy throughout with members of the public eager to learn more about the entire range. The number and quality of enquiries has been outstanding, far exceeding our internal targets.”
Meanwhile, Daihatsu operations director, Paul Hegarty, pays tribute to the organisation of the show.
“We feel the show organisers have got things just right as far as generating the right atmosphere for the public,” he says.
