Confusion reigned for a couple of days last week following the London Evening Standard’s claiming that EC&O Venues had been sold. According to the Standard the company had sold its assets, including recent acquisition, The Brewery, to the Target Follow group, a fact that was quickly denied by EC&O. A spokesperson said that a number of expressions of interest had been made over the past year and that these are under consideration. The venues have not, however, been sold and news of any such move would come first from EC&O rather than the national press.
