APPOINTMENTS ROUNDUP
Events technology supplier PSCo has added intelligent technology expert Stuart Reay to its team. Reay has many years experience with in the AV industry, specialising in visualisation for leading manufactures, such as Panoram Technologies and CRT Displays. His experience includes the design and integration of large-scale visualisation systems for a wide range of trade organisations within the oil and gas, aviation, defence and entertainment industries.
Previous employment has also seen Stuart working as a lead engineer within a global support team providing onsite support across EMEA and throughout North America.
“Stuart’s skills will also provide key logistical information, especially for the more challenging and complex projects, broadening our capabilities and making large screen technology more accessible to the larger market,” said PSCo managing director Stuart Holmes. “His technical knowledge and expertise will also be valued onsite, working with clients on their projects.”
Experienced FMCG marketer Alison Newton has joined roadshow specialist Event Marketing Solutions (EMS) as an account manager, as the business expands its management team to support future growth. Formerly Trade Marketing Manager at confectionery firm Leaf UK – best-known for children’s fruit chew brand Chewits – Alison has 13 years’ experience in the drinks industry, including posts at Holsten UK and Scottish Courage. In her new role, she will be responsible for some of EMS’ largest clients in the FMCG, financial services, consumer electronics and government sectors.
EMS managing director Keith Austin commented: “Alison is a key appointment – bringing with her a wealth of marketing expertise and first-hand experience of working with some major FMCG brands.”
The company has also announced three other appointments: senior account executive Gemma Hirrel has been promoted to account manager and Rachel Edwards and Laura Madden have joined as account executives.
