<p>This year's Royal Highland Show has been describe as the most successful ever, with thousands of delegates gathering north of the border to share views on the business, social and educational aspects of Scottish agriculture. </p><p>Just recently the Royal Highland & Agricultural Society of Scotland (RHASS) announced that the annual event is likely to be moved from its current Islington site within the next five years as BAA may require the land for a planned expansion. </p><p>While the body has already drawn up a £350 million budgeting plan for such an eventuality, for now it is looking to continue and build upon the success of the 2008 show, which its press steward Keith Brooke called a "bumper show for livestock with exceptional quality". </p><p>"I spoke to one stand holder on Friday evening who told me that he felt like packing up and going home because he had already done more business in two days that he might have expected over the four full days," he said. </p><p>"There has been a good mood throughout the show and we are delighted with the attendance."</p><p>Around 127,600 people visited the show this year, an increase of 12,493 on 2007 figures and largely boosted by a strong Sunday attendance. <img alt="ADNFCR-1753-ID-18651393-ADNFCR" src="http://feeds.directnews.co.uk/feedtrack/justcopyright.gif?feedid=1753&it..." /></p>
