RTMS installed at ExCel London
<p>The first permanent installation of a real time measurement system (RTMS) is to take place in ExCel London.</p><p>Fish Software's technology tracks the location of each visitor to an event, meaning <a href="http://www.tsnn.co.uk/conference_organisers/suppliers" target="_self">conference organisers</a> and stand holders can create an interactive and personalised experience for attendees.</p><p>Using radio frequency identification technology the RTMS monitors when people enter the exhibit, seminar attendances and information requests.</p><p>Kevin Murphy, chief executive of ExCel London, says: "This fabulous technology will revolutionise the industry and will enable us to work even more closely with our clients to help them and their customers consistently deliver successful results and ultimately events."</p><p>He says all events, regardless of size or nature, to benefit, with Fish Software's chief executive Michael Gilvar backing this up.</p><p>Mr Gilvar says the service will give events a more prominent place in the media and could even eclipse the internet in its ability to gather measurements and data.</p><p>ExCel recently revealed it is to host the Foreign and Commonwealth Office's summit in April.<img alt="ADNFCR-1753-ID-19018318-ADNFCR" src="http://feeds.directnews.co.uk/feedtrack/justcopyright.gif?feedid=1753&it..." /></p>
