Events 2012 and Beyond programme announced
<p>Organisers of the Events 2012 and Beyond conference have announced the programme of sessions offered at the convention.</p><p>It will include seminars on managing expectations, sponsors, media, corporate hospitality and supply chain, aiming to instruct attendees on how the event industry can make the most of the London Olympics. </p><p>The symposium - to be held at the Earls Court Conference Centre on February 24th - will be anchored by BBC breakfast television presenter Bill Turnbull and will also feature speakers from VisitLondon, VisitBritain and the London Development Agency.</p><p>David Sharpe, head of the Events 2012 Development Group, says: "This is a hugely impressive line up of speakers and will deliver practical advice on what to expect from the games and how to maximise the opportunities that they present."</p><p>Other industry figures presenting at the event include Boris Johnson's director of marketing, Dan Ritterband, general manager of the London 2012 Olympics, Daryl Jelinek, and chief executive of Event Scotland, Paul Bush.</p><p>Recently, Trevor Foley launched a website to provide <a href="http://www.tsnn.co.uk/conference_organisers/suppliers" target="_self">conference organisers</a> with information on business speakers, Event magazine reported.<br/><img alt="ADNFCR-1753-ID-19032786-ADNFCR" src="http://feeds.directnews.co.uk/feedtrack/justcopyright.gif?feedid=1753&it..." /></p>
