Cedia event organisers offer 33% discount to exhibitors
<p>Organisers of the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (Cedia) have cut the cost of <a href="http://www.tsnn.co.uk/exhibition_stands/suppliers" target="_self">exhibition stands </a>by 33 per cent for the group''''s June event in a bid to beat the credit crunch.</p><p>Cedia is hoping to boost the number of exhibitors at its Expo with its recession-busting initiative and is also offering visitors a two for the price of one training session deal.</p><p>"These are extraordinary times. In talking with the industry Cedia recognises the challenging economic circumstances, and the unique financial pressures many of our members now face," explained Matt Nimmons, operations director at the organisation.</p><p>He said Cedia worked closely with exhibitors and visitors when creating the incentives package, which he added will help to ensure the event continues to serve as the industry''''s "premier technology and education showcase".</p><p>Last week, Trevor Foley, former head of the Event Industry Alliance, told delegates at industry convention RSVP 09 that conferences and exhibitions will be a key form of marketing in the future, Event magazine reported.<br/><img alt="ADNFCR-1753-ID-19119990-ADNFCR" src="http://feeds.directnews.co.uk/feedtrack/justcopyright.gif?feedid=1753&it..." /></p>
