123 Hire serves an Ace at Wimbledon!
Collectively, we agreed that the provision of a combination of fixed and Bluetooth payment terminals, from 123’s dedicated hire fleet, would be the most suitable solution. 123 Hire delivered the terminals in good time for the event, installed and tested the equipment and provided onsite support for the first two days of The Championships itself.
Andy Mulroe of FMC commented: ’I must say the 123 Hire service was excellent; the terminals worked non-stop throughout the tournament and your on-site engineers were able to enjoy the tennis!’
FMC was looking for a reliable supplier to provide fast, secure and, most importantly, reliable payment systemsto ensure the smooth running of card acceptance throughout the venue. The numbers of visitors to this world famous event, coupled with the peaks and troughs of payment processing traffic, mark Wimbledon out as a fairly unique event and one that poses a number of challenges. FMC was looking for a solution that was flexible and that could be tailored to their specific requirements. It needed to be easy to implement, easy to use (for both servers and customers), and as fast and robust as possible. Equally important, FMC were looking for the flexibility of hiring these terminals purely for the 2 weeks of the event. This kind of requirement is exactly why 123 Hire was created - to deliver cost effective and robust payment terminals for any event.
During this summer’s Wimbledon tournament, 123 Hire again proved to be the leader in the provision of Payment Terminals on Short Term Hire to the events industry.
