Wirral venue gets £12 million revamp
<p><a href="http://www.tsnn.co.uk/event_management_organisers/suppliers" target="self">Event organisers</a> will be interested to hear of a revamped venue in Wirral.</p><p>The Floral Pavilion Theatre and Victoria Gardens have been features of the New Brighton waterfront for a century, according to CreativeMatch.co.uk, but the pavilion is set to open a new theatre, plaza and conference centre next month.</p><p>Comedian Ken Dodd will open the new facilities which represent the first stage of a £70 million leisure and conference development.</p><p>The £12 million revamp will offer the largest and most flexible multi-purpose venue in the area, according to Visit Liverpool.</p><p>The <a href="http://www.tsnn.co.uk/event_staging/suppliers" target="self">event staging</a> venue will have an enhanced 800 seat theatre, bars and lounge and 765 sq metres of conference space that can be divided into five separate conference rooms.</p><p>The centre will be capable of hosting conferences of between 50 and 300 people and is well situated just across the River Mersey from Liverpool.</p><p>Also nearby are Manchester and Chester, both of which can be accessed by rail and road.</p><p>Visitors will also enjoy a ferry ride on the Mersey to take them through to Liverpool's centre.<br/><img alt="ADNFCR-1753-ID-18884535-ADNFCR" src="http://feeds.directnews.co.uk/feedtrack/justcopyright.gif?feedid=1753&it..." /></p>
