The Melville Dashboard Debuts at Mortgage Business Expo 2011
Melville Exhibition and Event Services has delivered an online exhibition portal for exhibitors at Clarion's Mortgage Business Expo (MBE), held at the Olympia 2 from November 16 to 17, 2011.
The Melville Dashboard allows exhibitors to manage their entire exhibition experience through a single, e-commerce enabled web interface. The Melville Dashboard includes an online ordering interface where exhibitors can check the availability of furniture, view and select matching products for their stand, choose their electrical stand fittings and place orders. The Melville Dashboard features a state-of-the-art drag-and-drop capability that allows exhibitors to design their three-dimensional stand layout, providing them with an accurate representation of how their stand will look at the show.
The Melville Dashboard has been designed to offer exhibitors help at the click of a button, providing them with access to a wealth of supporting information such as the “Guide to Exhibiting,” a collection of streaming videos that help exhibitors get the most out of the show. The online chat feature provides real-time support from Melville personnel as well as information about the venue for the exhibition.
“The Melville Dashboard revolutionises the support we give to exhibitors,” says Melville's CEO Nick Marshall. “We have sought feedback from organisers to ensure that we are delivering exactly what their exhibitors need in a clear and easy-to-use format.”
“The deployment of the Dashboard at MBE 2011 is just the beginning. We will continue to add new features that enhance the Melville Dashboard based on feedback from organisers and exhibitors,” continues Marshall. “The Melville Dashboard is an example of Melville's strategy to deliver technology solutions for exhibitions that leverage stable, tried and proven platforms to address customer needs. We have a programme of in-house development that will see a range of enhancements and new features, all of which is being driven by feedback from organisers and exhibitors.”
