Dev Anand has recently joined OpenTable to assist help the company develop its exhibition service. OpenTable is an online restaurant booking service that allows customers to check restaurant availability and make reservations online.

“Organisers are constantly looking to improve their visitor and exhibitor experience and this is a tool which could help them,” says Anand. “On making their reservation, clients may also send in requests to the Maitre d’, for example, if the diner is a vegetarian or if it is their birthday and a cake should be brought to the table it is a simple matter to add the request to the reservation. They may even send an email confirmation to the people they have booked the table for, which includes the date, time and address of the restaurant as well as a map.”
