New categories announced for Event Technology Awards 2015
The Event Technology Awards will return for their third year this November and are to include a number of new categories.
The 2014 Awards boasted a 50% increase in entries, a 25 per cent increase in the number of attendees and a raft of praise from event professionals across the board. Organiser AMP Events Limited is promising they’ll be even bigger and better this year.
The new categories include:
- Best Technology for Event Monetisation
- Best Video & Web Casting / Streaming Solution
- Best Use of RFID or NFC
- Best Use of Projection Mapping
- Best Use of Gamification
- Best Use of Technology for Event Analytics, Data-Collection & Insight
- Best Social Media Tool
- People’s Choice Award
Speaking about the new categories, AMP’s sales and partnerships director and technology expert, Adam Parry explained: “It is important that the award categories continue to reflect and acknowledge best practice in the sector. As the use of technology grows and develops across all event platforms we need to raise awareness of those that are being actively embraced in the industry and we feel the new additions deliver that.”
