Microsoft Surface display system launched in UK events market
DB Systems has introduced new revolutionary new exhibition technology Microsoft Surface to the UK events market.
The system allows several users to simultaneously touch up to 52 points on the screen and operate a variety of programmes and features to view product data, animation and video content.
"As a display system, it has a whole multitude of applications that will benefit exhibitors and the organisers of events and exhibitions," said Oliver Richardson, sales director of DB Systems.
"Microsoft Surface offers that elusive 'wow' factor," he added, saying that the visitors using the system will leave an exhibition "highly impressed".
Mr Richardson suggested that one of the ways organisers might use the technology is for floor plans, so they could access a variety of information about exhibitors interactively.
Meanwhile, Clarion Events has awarded DB Systems and Aztec Event Services a three-year contract to manage the audio-visual requirements at its UK shows.
