Melville and EventGenie join forces in a strategic partnership
A strategic partnership has been announced between exhibition services contractor Melville Exhibition and Event Services Limited and mobile phone and web applications developer EventGenie Limited.
“We are delighted to be working with Melville to bring our technology to the widest possible audience. Our belief is that we are not only making events better but that we are transforming them,” said EventGenie founder and Managing Director Giles Welch.
EventGenie's native smartphone and web apps are designed to enhance networking opportunities, personalise events for visitors, give exhibitors and vendors more access and exposure to customers, and provide organisers with valuable visitor data and revenue opportunities. The apps allow organisers to send messages, and update event schedules, exhibitors' profiles, attendee lists and even the floorplan. A direct link to thousands of visitor’s mobile phones, it is a highly effective channel to disseminate information, before and during the show. After the event, organisers can access the visitor intelligence to help plan next year’s event, and provide feedback and insight to sponsors, speakers and exhibitors. Exhibitors receive highly targeted opportunities for exposure and promotion to key segments of the audience, and real and measurable lead generation.
“This strategic partnership enables us to offer our clients some exciting technology that will really add value to their shows. The applications developed by EventGenie are by far the best I have seen and I am delighted that we are moving forward together.” said Melville Chief Executive Officer Nick Marshall.
“The ability to bring this market transforming technology to our worldwide customer base is great news,” said Steve Moster, President of GES, Melville’s parent company.
