Matthew Lambert goes solo
Matthew Lambert has set up Maelstrom Solutions, a new event management and venue consultancy.
Lambert spent the last seven years at the International Centre, Telford where he was most recently commercial director. Prior to this he was with Emap Healthcare Exhibitions.
Maelstrom is going to offer event and exhibition management services to smaller organisers and trade associations as well as helping venues develop their services.
“Having had the experience of working for both organisers and venues I feel my new company will be able to offer a service that not only meets each client’s specific needs, but also adds value to organisations who need to run events but lack the resources or knowledge to do so efficiently,” says Lambert. “I have very much enjoyed my time at The International Centre and am extremely proud to have been part of the team that that has put the centre firmly on the map. But with future developments still some way off, I felt that the time was right for a new challenge.”
