London boat event showcases 'will wow visitors'
The weather will not deter people from visiting the Tullett Prebon London International Boat Show at ExCel London, according to the event's managing director.
Andrew Williams, head of event organisers National Boat Shows, said that while the wintry conditions could have an impact, people involved in boating are used to harsh weather so it is unlikely to stop them from attending.
He said he was really excited about the show, in particular its design.
"I think it's one of the best looking shows we've had just the layout and the feel of it I'm really, really pleased with it," he commented.
Mr Williams said that the design for the event as changed slightly, so that visitors now enter via the south hall at the exhibition centre, where their first view will be "beautiful boats all lined up", giving the show a wow factor.
The event began on January 8th and runs until the 17th, with showcases from almost 500 exhibitors displaying power and sail boats, dinghies, engines, electronics, deck equipment, charter holidays and sailing courses.
