For the first time, Exhibitions Centre Liverpool (ECL) showcased its new halls to the public with the Liverpool Wedding Show drawing in crowds over the weekend (12-13 September).

Over 150 exhibitors from the wedding market showcased their productsand services at the new waterfront venue, the latest addition to ACC Liverpool, now home to BT Convention Centre, Echo Arena and Exhibition Centre Liverpool.

Chief executive of The ACC Liverpool, Bob Prattey said: “This was our first consumer exhibition in Exhibition Centre Liverpool. The venue was transformed with catwalks, cars and bands amon the many fantastic displays and there was a real buzz among exhibitors and visitors.”

Managing director of the show, Joanne Dainty Fenna said: “As a Liverpool-based exhibition organizer, it is fantastic to have a facility such as this in the city. It has enabled us to grow our event and ticket sales were the highest they have ever been.

“We are already planning our next event at Exhibition Centre Liverpool in January 2016.”

Liverpool Wedding Show’s highlights included the Wedding Demonstration Garden, The Palm Sugar Live Lounge, VIP Lounge and catwalk shows.
