Husband and wife team up at furniture hire firm
Keith Forbes is following in his wife's footsteps and is joining the Thorns Group, it has been announced.
Mr Forbes, who has worked in the events industry for more than 20 years, has joined the furniture hire company as its transport manager, while his wife joined the firm last year as a sales executive.
He will be responsible for Thorn's fleet, with main duties including the maintenance and route planning of vehicles.
Mr Forbes said: "Having worked in the events industry for more than two decades I've come to know the team at Thorns very well. It's great to have joined the company – even if my wife did beat me to it by a few months!"
Commenting on the appointment, Thorns' director of operations, Jim Williams, said Mr Forbes was well qualified for the job, adding that he was sure he would be a "great asset".
Last month, it was announced that the exhibition furniture company was working on the Londonlaunch:live event.
