Grand Designs Live adds extra day to Birmingham show
Media 10, organiser of Grand Designs Live, has extended the next edition of the Birmingham show by one day. The event, sponsored by Anglian Home Improvements, will run from 9th to 12th October at the NEC.
Last year 61,832 visitors (ABC-audited) visited the event which showcased 500 exhibitors. The show’s footprint also expanded by 15 per cent, taking over two halls to house more Grand Build stands along with Food and Housewares and a new food feature called Market Lane.
Nathan Garnett, show manager for Grand Designs Live, commented: “Our ninth Birmingham show was a huge success; so much so that we have added an extra day to this year’s event as well as increase the overall footprint to accommodate our growing visitor numbers.
“As always, we have kept evolving the show with a number of new features for Birmingham including The Tech Box, Grand Gardens Urban Allotment and Market Lane.”
Based on the Channel 4 TV series, and presented by design guru Kevin McCloud, the event will be packed with over 500 exhibitors, across six different sections, covering interiors, gardens, food and housewares, kitchens and bathrooms, home improvement, self-build, renovations, technology and shopping.
