The event industry charity golf day “In The Rough”, supported by the AEO, AEV and ESSA, has announced that for the second year it will be supporting Events for Namuwongo as its international charity partner for the 2013 event. In The Rough 2013 will take place on 23 July at Forest of Arden, Warwickshire.

Events for Namuwongo is an innovative partnership of people and companies who have come together to support a community by not only adopting them, but caring for them to create real change for those who live there.

Trevor Foley of Events for Namuwongo said, “We are thrilled to be a part of this event once again. Last year was a tremendous day, great fun and it generated significant funds to support the charity. We are all looking forward to another worthwhile and entertaining day of golf.”

In The Rough has a cross association steering group consisting of Graham Stephenson of the Business Design Centre, Paul MacDonald of Centaur and Luke Facey of Alfa Display.

ESSA director Chris Skeith concluded, “The golf day has developed into a strong event in the industry calendar with a number of 'money can't buy prizes', I would urge anyone interested in a day of golf, a good dinner and great company, to mark the date on the calendar.”
