The Enterprise Hotel, a popular venue with Earls Court & Olympia conference and exhibition organisers and attendees, is launching a unique event to be held on 1 July 2011 in conjunction with The Earl’s Court Festival - ‘Bombay Bites’.
Rebecca Claydon, Earls Court Festival organiser explains, "Bombay Bites is a phenomenal addition to our programme of Festival events which takes place between 19 June to 17 July 2011. We have worked closely with The Enterprise Hotel to bring together a contemporary and exciting evening of fascinating Asian entertainment and cuisine."
The Earls Court Festival is an annual project of the Earl’s Court Community Trust (ECCT), a registered charity that seeks to bring people together in Earl’s Court. The Festival is an annual event holding a variety of activities aimed at people of all ages and backgrounds. The 2010 Festival attracted over 7000 people, mainly local residents, but also from within the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, London and Europe.
Kripen Dhrona, The Enterprise Hotel marketing manager says, "The Enterprise has supported the Earls Court Festival for a number of years but this is the first time we have staged a programmed event. We were determined to create something different and special - and we have. The caliber of and variety of entertainment is sensational we have secured some seriously talented Asian musicians, poets and dancers. Our head chef has even created several new dishes especially for the occasion. Having devised this unique event format we are planning to offer it to corporate event and exhibition organisers for private parties, networking and staff motivational events."
The Festival is an arts and community festival supported by local and national businesses including Earls Court & Olympia EC&O, Bloomberg and Faron Sutaria Faron Sutaria. It aims to be accessible, fun, affordable, creative and educational, and as such to bring together people of all ages and backgrounds. It has a substantial music and literary component, with musical events taking place in a variety of local venues, from pubs to galleries to the street fair to the chapel in Brompton Cemetery. It provides opportunities for people in the community to volunteer and develop skills in organising and running the Festival.
