Melville Exhibition & Event Services has been appointed by Emap Connect as

preferred services supplier to all Connect's UK shows.  The appointment, which

will run for an initial period of 4 years, will see Melville service some of the

UK’s leading trade shows including BETT, Spring Fair, Naidex and

Pure.

Emap Connect CEO Malcolm Gough said: “Our commitment to customer

service is all about helping businesses to grow.  We’ve listened to feedback

over the past year and this deal is a response to comments on the costs of

exhibiting and the need to see return on investment.”

“We believe in

Melville.  We have a partner who will work with us to reduce exhibitor cost,

improve returns and help us grow our events year on year.  Melville’s new

approach to exhibitor service, Melville Prism, was a major factor in our

decision to move forward with Melville.” he added.

Commenting on the

appointment Melville’s CEO Nick Marshall said: “We are delighted that Emap have

decided to expand the relationship between our two companies.  There is a strong

cultural fit between Melville and Emap and we share many of the same core

values.  We will be working closely with Emap to drive customer service at the

same time as helping exhibitors achieve greater return on their investment.”

“This is good news for all Melville’s customers.  With the backing of

GES and the order visibility the Emap deal affords us, we will continue to

invest in exhibitor focussed services with the goal of helping to improve

exhibitor retention rates year on year.  Our goal is to take all our clients’

exhibitor service levels to a new high which can only be positive for the UK

exhibition industry.”
