Diversified show moves to Olympia amid Earls Court uncertainty
Diversified Communications has announced that the 2015 edition of The Service Desk & IT Support Show (SITS) is to take place in Olympia London, moving from its current location at Earls Court.
The show will move to Earls Court’s sister venue Olympia’s National Hall, where it will continue to run alongside Infosecurity Europe, which will also make the move from Earls Court into Grand Hall Olympia.
The show joins a raft of exhibitions moving to Olympia, following industry speculation regarding the closure of Earls Court. Clarion recently announced the 2015 edition of Destinations: The Holiday & Travel Show will move to Olympia, following Reed Exhibitions’ London Book Fair move.
Carsten Holm, managing director of Diversified UK, commented: “We are delighted to be able to confirm that SITS has a new home and would like to take the opportunity to thank our exhibitors and the Service Desk Institute for being so understanding and supportive whilst discussions have been taking place.
“We are also delighted that Infosecurity will move with us and we are looking forward to working together to continue to provide a great event and experience for all our stakeholders in 2015 and beyond.”
Joy-Fleur Brettschneider, group marketing manager at Reed Exhibitions said: “Infosecurity and The Service Desk & IT Support Show have co-located for the past 12 years and the joint access and the ability to cross-over between both shows is clearly a benefit to many visitors at both shows.”
A consequence of having to consolidate Earls Court and Olympia events into one venue means that SITS will move to the slightly later dates of 2nd to 3rd June 2015.
The 2014 edition of SITS will take place at the Brompton Hall, Earls Court London on 29th to 30th April 2014.
