DB Systems move to larger premises
Leading event industry AV and IT Hire company, DB Systems, is celebrating the end of a bumper year with a move into new, larger premises. 2014 has been a record breaking year for the company, with the successful delivery of a wide range of large scale projects and the development of market-leading new technology solutions by their digital division, pixelhouse.
DB Systems offer a bespoke Audio Visual (AV) and IT rental service for the event industry, providing services for exhibitions, conferences, sales events or any promotional activity around the world. Connectivity installation at The Farnborough International Airshow and contracts for the official supply of IT and AV facilities at trade shows across Europe, including Mobile World Congress, World Travel Market and CPHi, are just a few of the projects undertaken by DB Systems during 2014.
The move to new premises will provide over 25,000 square foot of warehousing facilities and office space which will be used for the storage of their rental equipment inventory and also enable the 50 staff across 3 DB divisions – AV & IT hire, Pixelhouse and Event Networks – to be in a single open-plan office space.
David Bulley, DB Systems Managing Director, commented: “2014 has been a really exciting year for us, and our ongoing growth in terms of new business, head-count and new equipment means we’ve outgrown our existing premises. The new space will enable all our divisions to work together more closely and also gives us the opportunity to add additional inventory check-out procedures which will make our operations even more efficient.”
DB Systems moved the majority of their rental equipment into the new warehouse in August ready for the busy Autumn season, with the final members of staff taking up their new positions this week. The warehouse is located in Tewkesbury, just off Junction 9 of the M5.
