Bournemouth animation conference to welcome world experts
<p>Some of the world's leading animation artists are due to head to the south coast of England towards the end of this month for a global conference on the future of the industry. </p><p>The three-day Animation Unlimited conference will make use of the cutting-edge facilities at the Arts Institute in the city of Bournemouth, thereby allowing delegates and guest speakers to enjoy screenings and hands-on workshops in addition to lectures and round-table seminars. </p><p>Among the experts due to speak at the conference are Professor Peter Parr, from the Bournemouth institution, Melbourne University's Professor Sean Cubitt and Professor Esther Leslie from Birbeck College, University of London, highlighting the international nature of the event, with delegates also expected from Canada, Japan, the United States and Hong Kong. </p><p>To coincide with Animation Unlimited, which will take place between July 18th and 20th, the Arts Institute will be hosting a special exhibition showcasing the works of one of the UK's most famous animation directors, Bob Godfrey MBE, whose credits include 'Roobarb and Custard' and 'Henry's Cat'. <img alt="ADNFCR-1753-ID-18683844-ADNFCR" src="http://feeds.directnews.co.uk/feedtrack/justcopyright.gif?feedid=1753&it..." /></p>
