Trowbridge Arts invites you to think of a message you’d like to give to someone and “say it with a poem” at Trowbridge Town Hall.  A friendly team of local poets and artists will be in residence on the day, writing and illustrating their own message-poems and encouraging you to create your own.  Come and join them!

Can a Town Hall Tale inspire your poem?
You might choose to draw on the Town Hall’s fascinating history to inspire a poem or drawing. Use events from your own life, or write something completely imaginary – the choice is yours.  All poems and illustrations will be on display in an exhibition we hope you will invite your friends and family to visit.

Timings for the day
 
9.45 – 11.45            Workshop 1 with primary schools
11.00 – 16.00           Public opening
13.30 – 15.00          Workshop 2 with secondary schools

10.30 – 12.00          Artists’ café -  a monthly networking group for creatives, will be meeting in the foyer and you are welcome to join them. We will be tweeting short poems too.
