Delegates will examine the conclusions of the report - which is expected to focus on the speed and efficiency of the planning process - as well as priorities for skills development and community engagement.
Sessions will also assess the progress being made with major infrastructure projects - including those relating to transport, housing and digital connectivity - as outlined in the Infrastructure Investment Plan 2011 - Updated Programme Pipeline (January 2015).
The conference will bring together policymakers from the Scottish Government and Parliament with key stakeholders in planning and infrastructure development, as well as local authorities, environmental and community groups, businesses involved in construction, property and sustainability, academics and other interested parties.
We are delighted that John McNairney, Chief Planner, The Scottish Government has agreed to deliver a keynote address at this seminar.
